There are circumstances where it is more appropriate for counselling to be provided over the telephone. This facility is available through Barrington Counselling.
Barrington Counselling Psychologists are professionally associated with the Australian Critical Incident Stress Association. The trauma debriefing can occur at the site of the crisis or wherever is appropriate given the nature of the trauma.
Barrington Counselling provides counselling to retrenched and terminated staff for emotional reactions and emotional processing to prepare for future employment.
Barrington Counselling’s vocational psychology service assesses children for school readiness, choice of schools, choice of subjects and vocational direction. Our work with adults can happen due to ‘mid-life’ crisis, general lack of interest in current job or confusion with career succession planning.
