Management
We are all familiar with sports coaches, those individuals who support teams to reach their goals. Management coaches perform the same function, only they work on a one to one basis. A management coach will hold the client accountable for an agreed plan of action that will lead to an improvement in performance. Barrington coaches work to an agreed model which may include a personal strategic plan and a professional development plan to work on those areas which have been identified as being in need of improvement. The coach works with the client to improve competencies and set direction. It is a confidential relationship built on trust and the desire to improve, much the same as a personal trainer.

The Barrington model to management coaching is a seven step process:

A management coach will hold the client accountable for an agreed plan of action that will lead to an improvement in performance.
The value of coaching lies with the one to one nature of the learning.

The value of coaching lies with the one to one nature of the learning. It provides a private forum for success, without the constraints of group sessions so that the coaches can explore issues that are particular to them.
